About  Single Diodes

Single rectifier diodes are electronic components designed to allow current flow in only one direction. These diodes are typically used to convert alternating current (AC) to direct current (DC) by allowing the positive half of the AC signal to pass through while blocking the negative half. Each device package of a single rectifier diode contains exactly one instance of this function. These diodes are commonly used in power supply circuits, voltage regulators, and battery chargers, among other applications. They are characterized based on their maximum forward voltage, peak reverse voltage, and maximum average forward current ratings. It's worth noting that diodes used for other purposes, such as zener and variable capacitance diodes, are listed separately in their own product families. These diodes have unique characteristics and are designed for specific applications. Similarly, products that feature multiple diodes within a single package are also listed separately.
