About  Resonators

Resonator products belong to the family of frequency selective elements used for generating a frequency source when combined with an external drive circuit. While they serve a similar purpose to quartz crystal devices, resonators incorporate different technologies such as surface acoustic wave (SAW) or piezoceramic materials. Resonators and quartz crystals share overlapping application spaces, but they have distinct characteristics.
