About  Pressure Sensors, Transducers

Pressure sensors or transducers play a crucial role in detecting and accurately responding to the presence or variations in applied force. These devices are specifically designed to measure different types of pressure, including Absolute, Compound, Differential, Gauge, Sealed Gauge, Switch, Vacuum, and Vented Gauge. They are capable of operating within a wide range of pressures, spanning from -100PSI (-689.48kPa) to 20000PSI (137895.15kPa). Absolute pressure sensors are engineered to measure pressure relative to a perfect vacuum, providing an accurate indication of the absolute pressure at a given point. Compound pressure sensors, on the other hand, are designed to measure both positive and negative pressures, making them suitable for applications where pressure variations can occur in either direction. Differential pressure sensors are utilized to determine the difference in pressure between two points, enabling the measurement of pressure variances across various systems and components.
