Parity Generators and Checkers

Parity Generators and Checkers are electronic components used to evaluate the number of bits set to 1 in a digital word and generate or evaluate an additional parity bit. The purpose of this functionality is to detect data errors that may have occurred during transmission. Parity generators analyze the binary values of the input digital word and calculate whether the count of 1s is even or odd.
