About  Universal Bus Functions

Universal Bus Functions are electronic components designed to handle and manipulate a series of parallel logic signals, typically referred to as a bus. These ICs perform various functions that facilitate efficient data transmission and reception within a digital system. One of the main purposes of these ICs is to provide temporary storage for data. They can store data that needs to be transmitted or received, ensuring synchronized communication between different devices connected to the bus. This temporary storage prevents data loss or corruption during transmission, improving overall system reliability. Another crucial function of these ICs is buffering. When a device, such as a microprocessor, has limited output current capacity, these ICs act as buffers.
