About  Digital Potentiometers

Digital potentiometers are electronic devices used in data acquisition systems to control and manipulate analog signals digitally. A digital potentiometer, also known as a digital variable resistor, is an integrated circuit (IC) that emulates the functionality of a traditional mechanical potentiometer using digital control signals. It consists of a series of resistive elements and switches that can be selectively connected to vary the overall resistance between its input and output terminals.
