Transformer-type inductor arrays consist of inductors with two or more windings that are magnetically coupled within the device, without internal electrical connections between the windings. These components are also referred to as coupled inductors due to the magnetic coupling between the individual windings. The absence of internal electrical connections enables the independent use of each winding for specific purposes. This flexibility allows transformer-type inductor arrays to be employed for various applications, including common mode filtering, differential mode filtering, and voltage transformation. Common mode filtering involves suppressing unwanted electromagnetic interference or noise that appears in common mode across multiple signal lines.
