Nisshinbo's Micro Devices presents the NR1600, a CMOS-based low-dropout voltage regulator that features both soft-start and power-good functions. The regulator allows for the adjustment of soft-start time through an external capacitor (CSS), enabling effective control over inrush current and slew rate during startup. Despite its 500 mA capacity and the inclusion of soft-start and power-good functions, the NR1600 is available in compact packages measuring just 1.2 mm x 1.2 mm x 0.4 mm, making it an excellent choice for applications where space optimization is crucial.
