onsemi's MOSFETs employ a D2PAK-7L package featuring a Kelvin source configuration that enhances thermal and switching performance. These MOSFETs use silicon carbide (SiC) technology to deliver superior switching characteristics and higher reliability than traditional silicon-based alternatives. The low ON resistance and small chip size translate to reduced capacitance and gate charge, resulting in increased system efficiency, faster operation frequency, greater power density, minimized EMI, and smaller overall system footprint.
The TOLL package not only improves thermal performance but also delivers excellent switching capabilities, thanks to the Kelvin source configuration and lower parasitic source inductance. Additionally, the TOLL package conforms to moisture sensitivity level 1 (MSL 1) standards, ensuring robustness and reliability under various environmental conditions.
