Operating at a 48 VBUS voltage, the EPC9145KIT can deliver 15 ARMS steady state with a +50°C temperature rise in natural air convection. With the addition of a heatsink, it can achieve 20 ARMS (28 APEAK). The board has been rigorously tested up to 100 kHz, 60 V input, and 50 APEAK, ensuring robust performance under various operating conditions.
The GaN-based inverter technology employed in the EPC9145KIT significantly enhances motor performance, offering improved range, precision, and torque. Furthermore, by eliminating electrolytic capacitors, this solution reduces overall system costs and enhances reliability.
