ABLIC introduces the S-82B4/5 and S-82C4/5 series, designed to improve safety, reduce current consumption, and shrink protection circuit board size. These series are equipped with power-saving functions that activate through an external signal input to the PSI pin, lowering current consumption to a maximum of 0.1 µA in low current consumption mode.
The S-82C4/C5 series provides a temperature protection function, enabling two-temperature (high and low temperature) monitoring during charging and discharging by connecting a single NTC. Moreover, the S-82C4A/5A allows for four-temperature monitoring with the connection of an NTC:

The temperature detection circuit's intermittent operation ensures low current consumption, even when using a 10 kΩ NTC. In summary, ABLIC's S-82B4/5 and S-82C4/5 series come with temperature protection functions, power-saving modes, and multi-temperature monitoring, making them ideal for applications that require improved safety, reduced current consumption, and smaller protection circuit board size.
