Sequent Microsystems is a leading manufacturer and designer of I/O Cards specifically designed for Raspberry Pi. Our cards are designed to enhance the capabilities of Raspberry Pi by providing a wide range of features and functionalities. Our I/O Cards offer analog inputs and outputs with voltage ranges from 0-3.3V, 0-10V, and 4-20mA. This allows users to interface with various sensors and actuators that require analog signals. In addition, our cards include optically isolated inputs that can handle voltages ranging from 3V to 240V AC or DC. These inputs provide enhanced safety and protection against electrical interference. Furthermore, our cards feature on-board relays and solid-state outputs, ranging from 4 to 16 channels. These relays and outputs enable users to control external devices such as lights, motors, and other industrial equipment. To cater to specific application needs, our cards also incorporate event counters, quadrature encoders, 1K/10K thermistors, RTD sensor inputs, and a Real-Time Clock (RTC) with battery backup. This allows for precise timing, temperature sensing, and data acquisition. For communication purposes, our cards support RS485/MODBUS communication protocols, enabling seamless integration with other devices and systems. Importantly, all our cards utilize the I2C port for communication with the Raspberry Pi. This design choice ensures that all the GPIO pins remain available for other tasks, providing flexibility and expandability for users.
