From its humble beginnings as a personal pastime pursued by Saulius Lukse, Kurokesu has blossomed into a full-fledged vocation driven by passion. In the initial stages, every aspect of production, from USB cameras and lenses to precision tools and motion systems, was meticulously handled by Saulius himself. Naturally, this demanded a substantial amount of time and effort. However, since 2017, the focus shifted primarily towards the engineering aspect, enabling collaboration with reputable manufacturers worldwide. The first foray into product sales commenced in late 2015, and by the spring of 2017, Saulius was able to leave his day job and dedicate himself entirely to Kurokesu. Today, Kurokesu proudly serves prominent companies alongside independent developers in supplying their needs.
